Lecture with Fr. Jim Bacik: Should the Catholic Church Ordain Women Deacons?

About the Lecture

For those of you in the Toledo area, I am giving my first lecture of this academic year on Thursday September 28, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the Franciscan Center Theater on the campus of Lourdes University. Entitled “Should the Catholic Church Ordain Women Deacons: Pros and Cons.” The lecture will examine scriptural, historical, theological, and practical arguments. No reservations are necessary. General admission is $10 (cash or check only) payable at the door.

Some points to note:

• Students, nuns, priests and persons with financial limitations are welcome to attend for free – just walk into the auditorium.
• No background notes will be available.
