Dear Friends and Readers:
For those of you in the Toledo area, I am giving my second lecture of this academic year on Thursday November 2, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the Franciscan Center Theater on the campus of Lourdes University. Entitled “The 2023 Synod: Historical, Theological and Practical Perspectives,” the lecture will concentrate on providing a context for interpreting the dynamics and results of the historic Synod meeting in Rome during the month of October.
No reservations are necessary. General admission is $10 (cash or check only) payable at the door.
Some points to note:
- Students, nuns, priests and persons with financial limitations are welcome to attend for free – just walk into the auditorium.
- No background notes will be available.
- If all goes well this lecture will eventually be available on my website: frjimbacik.org
