The House of Representatives has PASSED the President’s Budget, which now goes to the Senate which could change it, making it more human or less. So the question for me and you is, when we voted for the people representing us now in Washington was it your EXPECTATION, your HOPE that they would SLASH funding to SNAP, which helps low income families, children, elderly and disabled people buy food? Was it our HOPE, our EXPECTATION, that they would SLASH funding to MEDICAID, which helps provide health care to low income families, children, elderly and the disabled? To my understanding it has never been done before. But the poor are an easy target because the poor do not have lobbyists like the rich do…EXCEPT for ME and YOU!
