For those of you in the Toledo area, I am giving a lecture on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the theater in the Franciscan Center on the campus of Lourdes University. It is entitled: “The Legacy of Pope Francis in the Trump Era,” and will highlight the teachings of Pope Francis that challenge President Trump’s policies on important issues including immigration, global warming, democracy and globalization.
No reservations are necessary. General admission is $10 (cash or check only) payable at the door. Students, nuns, priests and persons with financial limitations are welcome to attend for free. Thanks to a generous friend, free copies of my latest book, Catholic Social Teachings: Revealing the Treasure will be available for the first 100 participants.
