Immigration and the Election

With the election around the bend, we are offering some additional information on immigration issues. The Immigration Working Group is offering a webinar by Ruben Garcia who has been administering the Annunciation House in El Paso, Texas, for about 50 years. This center provides housing, food, and hospitality for people who have recently crossed the border at this very busy entry point. Ruben is well known for his service to the immigrants/refugees. He hears many personal stories and knows firsthand the present situation at the border. This webinar is a trustworthy fact check for us all. The Annunciation House has been the target recently by those who are against almost any type of immigration. The House almost had to shut down. It will be prerecorded, but there will be a brief time for comments and questions after the video.
